Sobre la ciudad se alza el castillo de Edimburgo que alberga las joyas de la corona de Escocia y la Piedra del Destino, que se us\u00f3 en la coronaci\u00f3n de los gobernantes de Escocia. Arthur&#8217;s Seat es una imponente cima en el parque de Holyrood con vistas panor\u00e1micas y Calton Hill tiene monumentos y memoriales en su parte superior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pero si por algo es bien conocida Edimburgo y por ende Escocia es por sus bellos paisajes, por el monstruo del Lago Ness, por Outlander y muchas otras cosas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Podemos visitar Edimburgo en tres d\u00edas, pero si tienes m\u00e1s d\u00edas puedes aprovecharlos para visitar otras ciudades de Escocia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qu\u00e9 ver en Edimburgo<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>No te debes perder <strong>Royal Mile <\/strong>que es la calle que cruza la Old Town uniendo el Castillo con el Palacio de Holyrood. Famoso por ser el supuesto hogar del monstruo del Lago Ness, tambi\u00e9n conocido como Nessie, nombre que le fue asignado alrededor del a\u00f1o 1940. Seg\u00fan se dice un gran animal desconocido similar a un plesiosaurus, si bien su descripci\u00f3n var\u00eda seg\u00fan fuentes. Visita los lugares donde se rodaron sus escenas. Aunque esto nos dar\u00eda para todo un post, vamos a darte unas peque\u00f1as pinceladas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Podremos visitar la ciudad de Inverness muy cerca del Lago Ness, aunque realmente las escenas se rodaron en Falkland, en el condado de Fife. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Podemos alojarnos en <strong>Covenanter Hotel<\/strong> (pensi\u00f3n de Mrs Bairds) y visitar la tienda <strong>Fayre Earth Gift Shop<\/strong>, repleta de artesan\u00eda y recuerdos de Escocia y como no de Outlander.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La plazoleta donde un extra\u00f1o visitante contempla la pensi\u00f3n durante la tormenta est\u00e1 en High Street, y en <strong>el centro est\u00e1 la fuente Bruce Fountain<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Existen multitud de tours que recorren las tierras y cuentan la historia de Outlander por lo que te aconsejamos que si es de tu inter\u00e9s contrates un tour espec\u00edfico para conocer toda la historia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La capital de Escocia, Edimburgo, tiene una ciudad antigua medieval y una elegante ciudad nueva georgiana con jardines y edificios neocl\u00e1sicos.
